2008
- We took part as speakers in the 3rd workgroup "Bridging Digital Divide" during the Broadband Forum: Dialogue for a Broadband Development. The Forum was organized and held by EETT at Divani Caravel (26.02.2008)
- We organised in collaboration with the Centre for the Socio-Psychological Research in the Governance of Virtual Communities (Psychology Department, Panteion University) and the Greek Sociological Association, a two days scientific conference on 25-26/01/2008, at Panteion University on the subject “New technologies, Internet and Teaching Sociology”.
2007
- We took part in the antiracist feast of 16-18 March 2007 at the Syntagma's Metro station. The event was organised by the National Council of Youth (www.esyn.gr) in collaboration with the General Secretariat of Youth. “E-filathlos” team with the mascot, a referee's red card, shared coloured balloons and red cards sending the message of the acceptance in the diversity. For Sports without violence and racist behaviors. E-filathlos.gr participates and supports the European's Council Campaign “alldifferent-allequal” (www.oloiisoi.gr). National focal point for the campaign is National Youth Council.
- We organised a street action on 30-03 until 01-04 2007 at Ermou street. The street action took place after the tragic incidents of 29 March 2007 in Lavrion Avenue. “E-filathlos” shared leaflets against violence in sport, white balloons and red cards with the sign “Show red card on violence”, calling the world to react towards the violent phenomena in sport life.
- We took part in FARE's conference titled “Football, Ethnic Minorities and Equality”. The conference was held in Paris on 19-20 May 2007, with representatives of not governmental institutions from all over Europe that they are active on issues against discriminations in the football.
- We took part in the final event-completion of the European Campaign “All Different Equal” that was realised in Malmö of Sweden in the 4-7/10/2007.
- We co-organised with the Municipality of Athens, for a second continuous year, an antiracist football tournament between children from schools of Athens. The football game was held on the 23/2/07 in Rouf stadium. In the tournament participated children from immigrant communities of Athens. All the children that took part in the football game were granted with commemorative diplomas and gifts. The event was held during the 8th FARE's Action week.
- For the first time the official pan-european poster of FARE's network (www.farenet.org) became the photograph of a child from an African community of Athens. The photograph was taken by “e-filathlos” team at the duration of last year's children's football game and it was selected in 2007 to become the official European poster appearring Greece' s activities.
- We co-organised with the Greek Super League (www.superleaguegreece.net), at the duration of the 6th football game season (27-28/10/07) a parallel action in all the football games. The event durated two days all over the country. Players with orange t-shirts and children with coloured ones entered in the football field keeping banners with signs “Show Red in Violence and Racism”. In addition they raised for a few seconds a red card prompting sports fans to do the same movemenet. In Athens and Nea Smyrni the children that entered in the football field were from immigrants communities.
- It must be stressed that it was the first time that a special number of tickets were offered for free for immigrants, women and children.
-We organised in collaboration with Lavrion Municipality and the Laboratory for Social Experimental Psychology and Research on Public Opinion (Panteion University), a two days conference. The conference was held on 18-19/10/07, at Lavrion Municipality and the theme was “Active Community in an Open Society”.
2006
We took part in FARE' s Action week (Football Against Racism in Europe, www.farenet.org), in October 2006. In collaboration with the Organization of Youth and Sport of Athens Municipality we organised a friendly football tournament between children, boys and girls from multicultural schools of Athens. The football game took part at Rouf's stadium.
